The Arizona Dendrobate Ranch (a.k.a. AZDR.com) began in 1996 with our first web site dedicated to trying to provide more information to others interested in Dart Frogs and Terrariums.

Our first collection ended in 1999 with the birth of our twin daughters. However, we kept one tank of dendrobates leucomelas, some of the first dart frogs we ever acquired.
Even while not active in the community, the AZDR.com website was always online and available.

AZDR.com became active in the dart frog community again in 2002.  In 2005 we converted our web-site to an on-line store, while still retaining much of the orginal content for reference.  We can remember when in 1995 and later we shopped for items, including dart frogs, and found few items easily available.  Today, there are many more on-line vendors available, many of whom are our friends, and we feel privileged to be able to also provide the community with more choices and additional high quality goods.  Our long term goal is to be able to work for the community full time, with both a retail store, and by continually expanding our on-line store.  By purchasing from us, you help support that goal, and we appreciate that.  We will continue to strive to provide high quality goods, and dart frogs.  We also pledge to continue providing knowledge on our web-site that we feel is helpful to all dart froggers and terrarium enthusiasts.  We also try and participate as vendors in all of the major dart frog focused shows, and some additional shows in our region.

2006 will be our ten year anniversay, and we hope you will come celebrate it with us when we host American Frog Day 2006 in Mesa, Arizona - Saturday, March 18th, 2006!!!.
