Description Technical Specs   This fly is similar to the standard hydei, but a lighter golden color. This larger flightless fruit fly is a staple food source for many small amphibians and reptiles. Excellsior is used in each culture to provide longer lasting additional surface area for both flies and larvae. We use a high quality media specially formulated for AZDR to ensure the best cultures. Click "View Quantity Discounts" button to see volume pricing!   Features Clear containers provide easy viewing of cultures. Poly fabic vented lids, so less hassle with opening and closing cultures. Each culture should last approximately 4 weeks. Results may vary depending upon climate and temps. Place a small piece of fruit in tanks to help keep flies in one location. NOTE - If you buy a single culture and feed only from it, expect lower production from the culture. Cycling at least two cultures will give each culture time to maximize production.
